About Me
FINTAN RYAN
Like you I also come here with a unique mix of talents, experiences, successes, potential and yes…I also have challenges. I bring all these and some humour to our journey. I have spent over thirty years in senior leadership roles and I discovered coaching late in my career. By then, I had learned through trial and error …sometimes it was not pretty. When I look back now, I can see how coaching would have saved me from myself and given me a better prospective on myself, my challenges and my opportunities. I have completed my Executive Coaching Certification through Royal Roads University and I have been accepted as a member of and accredited as an Associate Certified Coach by The International Coaching Federation www.ICF.com
Culture is a very important part of any organization. I have seen organizations who have been limited by poor cultures and also seen how good culture can lead an organization to great success. I have witnessed how culture can be changed, allowing organizations to thrive. Culture is dictated by actions. As leaders we can control our own actions and, at least, influence the actions of others. Changing an organizations culture takes leadership, consistency and intention. The results are always worth the effort.

The logo is based on the old Celtic symbol: The “Awen”. The three lines, emanating from three points of light, relate to earth, sea and air; body, mind and spirit; or love, wisdom and truth. It is also said that the Awen stands for inspiration with the outer circle being the circle of creativity.
When I started coaching with Fintan I was in an operations role and his coaching was instrumental in helping me strengthen my emotional intelligence. As I transitioned to a CEO role, Fintan was very supportive and found that our discussions led me to think in new directions and improved my overall strategic mindset!
